Interim Overseas Contract Staff

Whilst there is a shortage of available, qualified staff within the UK, there is a large pool of qualified staff in various locations overseas such as the Far East. There are also significant numbers of highly skilled clinical staff from Western European Union countries who are keen to work in he UK.

We are able provide qualified staff for 2 year contract placements within various nursing specialisation from the Far East as well as nurses from the European Union who do not require adaptation.

Whilst we appreciate concerns about language and training differences, we have a highly advanced and efficient recruitment process to ensure that nurses are suitably qualified both clinically and in terms of their English language skills.

Our overseas staff are:

Pre-selected via pre-recorded video interview (provided on CD-ROM)
They can be remote interviewed using teleconferencing (all interviews recorded and provided to the client for further review). Arrangements can be made for interview trips overseas if preferred.
Qualified and experienced for the role provided
Available to be in the UK within 2 months of booking

They represent a fast, low cost interim solution to nursing staff requirements within certain fields.

 
 
Cost Analysis
 
The fees associated with the placement of these staff depend on the volume “ordered” plus disbursements such as travel costs. A budgetary figure of £2,000 - £2,500 per member of staff in the case of adaptation nurses from the Philippines would be a reasonable initial benchmark.

This compares very favourably with recruitment fees of 15-20% for UK or EU staff located via agencies, on top of which it is the expectation of these overseas staff to carry out adaptation on Grade B pay and then to be paid at Grade D, which represents a saving over their UK equivalent.

Furthermore, the combined salary rate and savings over agency staff currently being used to cover these roles will represent a significant saving even after recruitment fees and disbursement, whilst providing a period of staffing stability.
